This August marks the 5th anniversary of the implementation of the master plan of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.

With its operational center based in Chongqing municipality, southwest China, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor connects global ports via railways, sea routes and highways through southern Chinese provincial-level regions such as Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Yunnan province.

Over the past five years, the trade corridor has expanded its reach to 523 ports in 124 countries and regions. Some Southeast Asian specialties like durians from Thailand and basa fish from Vietnam now enter the Chinese market more quickly and Chinese goods can reach those markets equally fast. Click the video to learn more.
